Who we are
Preply.guide is an independent editorial site launched in 2026 with a single mission: help people decide whether Preply is the right platform for them, and — if it is — how to use it well.
We are not employed by, sponsored by, or in any formal partnership with Preply Inc. We are members of Preply's public affiliate program, which means we may earn a small commission if you book a lesson through our links. That commission funds the site; it does not change the content. We have written critical things about Preply where they were warranted, and we will continue to.
Our editorial principles
- Independence. No tutor or partner can pay to be ranked higher in our guides.
- Honesty. If something is broken on Preply, we say so. If a competitor does it better, we say so.
- Currency. Pricing and policy information is rescraped at least every 90 days.
- Citations. Any quoted Preply policy or price is sourced from preply.com at the date noted on each page.
